Mayor Walsh meets with Ausonia residents
Mayor Walsh meets with Ausonia residents
Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Women’s Employee Resource Group stopped by the Boston Housing Authority’s Ausonia Apartments Tuesday morning to celebrate Woman’s History Month.
Mayor Walsh gave some remarks on the importance of women, affordable housing, and the North End, and answered questions from the residents. The Mayor was also joined by Councilor Lydia Edwards, who has formed a great relationship with the Ausonia residents, and Emily Shea, Commissioner of the Boston Age Strong Commission. Residents engaged with women who work at City Hall in a Women of Boston trivia game, and were treated to lunch from Spinelli’s.
