Welcome to Ausonia Apartments, located within the wonderful waterfront district in the historic and colorful North End. Built in the 1970s, the seven-story, elevator-equipped building is within walking distance of Fanueil Hall Marketplace, Paul Revere’s house, restaurants, churches, and a community health center, as well as many historic attractions.
The building offers 100 one- and two- bedroom units and many amenities specifically designed for the elderly and disabled individuals. Our units range from being fully equipped to modified to handicapped accessible.
Residents pay 30 percent of their income towards rent, prorated rent, or a predetermined flat rent.

Ausonia’s location is ideal, nestled in the heart of the North End, near many wonderful shops, restaurants, churches and community services. Historic Fanueil Hall is only a short walk away. Downtown Crossing is a quick walk or “T” ride away. Beautiful Boston Harbor is a stone's throw from the apartments.

Residents Tenant's Organization:
The Resident Tenant's Organization works hand-in-hand with the BHA, as well as with numerous public and private organizations to foster an independent lifestyle for residents while building a strong sense of community within the building.
The Tenant Task Force also encourages residents to participate directly in strengthening their community through a variety of educational, cultural, social and recreational activities.
