Bellflower is a warm, welcoming community that offers a variety of living arrangements for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled persons. Bellflower offers approximately 113 one- and two- bedroom apartments in a modern four-story, elevator-equipped brick building built in 1981.

Apartments range from being fully equipped to modified to handicapped accessible.

Residents pay 30 percent of their income towards rent, prorated rent, or a predetermined flat rent.

Location: 

Bellflower is located in Dorchester, with many stores and businesses conveniently located nearby, including DJ’s Market and Stop & Shop. The South Bay Shopping Center, University of Massachusetts’ Harbor Campus and John F. Kennedy Library are in the area as well. Health care is available at the New England Medical Center.

The Tenant Task Force also encourages residents to participate directly in strengthening their community through a variety of educational, cultural, social and recreational activities.
